Band "Karate" is a program designed to help students and parents track their progression through the Essential Elements Interactive book that is both fun and exciting.

Just like traditional Karate, beginners start with a "white" belt. Students will "check off" songs from the Band Karate list to earn their "belts". The belts are thin ribbons that may be tied on their case or specific parts of their instrument that does not interfere with the mechanics of the instrument. As their skill level increases, so does the color of belts.

This is a great way to motivate your student to practice their instrument! It also becomes very competitive. Who will make it to the Black Belt first?!
